We were in the marina and I was preparing dinner when a nice bunch of Moroccan young men started shouting and whistling to get my attention. I went on deck and they were pointing at the water. I saw Ruby swimming and she was heading toward the swim step. I ran back there and pulled her out. She’s a boat dog. It’s not her first time in the water, I’m just glad those guys alerted me. I probably would have gone looking for her when she didn’t return inside, but no guarantee. Those guys really saved her.
Christine ; I have been reading both your books and now your sailing adventures for years. I really enjoy your travelogues! This one ~On the Run, was fascinating and fun to read.Wishing yiu and Wayne a great holiday wherever you end up!
I have seen much of the world through both my work travel and vacations. However, I love seeing through your eyes, stories and the pics of your travels to countries I haven't been to. The adventures on a private ship like Mobius must be exhilarating even though much hardship at times. Keep it coming- I so enjoy your newsletters. Darlene
Though I don't like to travel and easily get seasick, I enjoy C. Kling's writing ... and her contagious smile (even when I think of her latest selfie pic, I smile, so the word "contagious").
I love reading about your travels. I’m hoping Barney has recovered from his UTI. I know he is much older now but I never stop worrying about all the dogs I fostered
Yes, Barney has recovered. He is a spry 11-year-old puppy. His "sister" Ruby, the poodle-mix, is 15 and the two of them are thick as thieves. Ruby has become very erratically stumbling. She falls down the stairs sometimes and two nights ago, she fell overboard at night in the marina. I don't know what will happen when we lose one of them. They have been together now for 9 years.
Love reading of your adventures and thanks for photos. How did you rescue the pup who fell overboard at night?

Yes, Barney is fully recovered. It can be difficult sometimes traveling with pets, but they give us so much joy it is more than worth it.
